Kerry Hill Architects designed the low-rise resort around the 1921 House, the former consulate building, which now holds The Service steakhouse, Brit Bar and The Verandah. Built in 2005 and opened as Anantara in 2013, the resort has a 34-metre pool beside lily ponds, Anantara Spa and a private pier for river cruises on the Mae Ping.
