1. About these terms

Explera provides ground-handling and destination-management services in Thailand exclusively to travel-trade businesses — travel agencies, tour operators and MICE planners (“partners”, “you”). We are a B2B supplier: we do not sell to consumers through this website, and nothing on it is an offer to the public. Individual bookings may carry additional program-specific terms stated in the quotation or confirmation; those prevail over these Terms for that booking.

2. Definitions

  • Booking — services confirmed by Explera in writing following your acceptance of a quotation.
  • Net rates — confidential trade prices released to verified partners for resale under the partner’s own retail terms.
  • Clients / travellers — the partner’s customers who consume the services.
  • Suppliers — hotels, carriers, guides, venues and other providers engaged for a booking.

3. Partner registration

Partner accounts are open to bona-fide travel-trade businesses. We may ask for company details, an IATA or national licence number and other verification, and may decline or close accounts that do not meet trade criteria or misuse the platform. Net rates, allotments and documentation are confidential and must not be published or shared outside your organisation.

4. Quotations & bookings

  • Quotations are prepared against your written brief and remain valid for the period stated on them; unless stated otherwise, prices and availability are not guaranteed until confirmed.
  • A booking exists when we issue a written confirmation. Options, allotments and release dates are as stated per booking.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, rooming lists and program details you provide.

5. Prices, payment & invoicing

  • Prices are net, in the currency stated on the quotation, and inclusive of the taxes and fees it lists.
  • Deposits, balances and due dates are stated per booking; unpaid balances may lead to release of services after notice.
  • Payments are accepted only through the channels stated on our Payments page, and payment correspondence goes to accounts@explera.co.th (payments only). We never change bank details by email without verbal verification; treat any such email as fraudulent and call us.
  • Bank charges of the sender are borne by the sender.

6. Changes, cancellations & refunds

  • Amendment and cancellation terms — including charges and no-show policy — are stated on each quotation/confirmation, because they follow the underlying supplier terms (hotels, marine, venues) for that program and season.
  • Where a paid service is cancelled within the permitted window, refundable amounts are returned through the original payment channel.
  • Unused services after travel has begun are generally non-refundable unless the confirmation says otherwise.

7. Your responsibilities as the retail agent

  • You contract with your clients in your own name and are responsible for your retail pricing, terms and consumer-law compliance in your market.
  • You confirm you have the consents needed to share traveller data with us (see our Privacy Policy).
  • You are responsible for advising clients on passports, visas and entry formalities (including Thailand’s digital arrival requirements), health requirements and suitability of activities.
  • You will pass on to clients any safety information, schedule changes or operational notices we send you.

8. Our responsibilities as ground operator

  • We operate services with reasonable skill and care, using licensed guides, insured vehicles and vetted suppliers, coordinated by a 24/7 operations desk (emergency support).
  • Where a confirmed service becomes unavailable we will offer a comparable alternative or a refund of the affected service.
  • Timings in itineraries are targets; traffic, weather and marine conditions can require adjustment, which our team manages on the ground.

9. Travel documents & insurance

Service vouchers and contact sheets are issued per booking. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all travellers; group and FIT cover can be quoted with a program. Marine, adventure and wellness activities may carry operator waivers your clients must sign on site.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, severe weather and sea states, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, or acts of authorities. In such events we work with suppliers to reroute, rebook or minimise charges, and pass on any refunds we recover.

11. Liability

  • Services are supplied by independent suppliers; Explera’s liability for a booking is limited to the amounts paid to us for the affected service, except where law does not permit such a limit (for example death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
  • We are not liable for the acts of carriers or authorities, for consequential loss, or for a partner’s retail obligations to its clients.
  • You indemnify us against claims arising from inaccurate information you supplied or your breach of these Terms.

12. Intellectual property

The website, its text, design and imagery belong to Explera or its licensors. Partners may use our program descriptions and imagery to market confirmed Explera programs to their clients; any other reproduction requires written permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.

13. Website use

You agree not to misuse the site — no scraping of rates, no attempts to breach security, no unlawful, misleading or infringing content in any submission. We may suspend access to protect the platform and its users.

14. Investor information

Content on our Investors page is general information for prospective partners, not an offer of securities or financial advice; any investment proceeds only under signed, project-specific agreements. Investor contact is ceo@explera.co.th only.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms and any booking are governed by the laws of Thailand. The parties will first attempt good-faith resolution between senior representatives; unresolved disputes fall to the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand, unless a booking confirmation provides otherwise.

16. General

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may update these Terms; the date above shows the current version, and material changes will be notified to registered partners. Questions: b2b@explera.co.th.
