Check-in at Royal Phuket Marina
Arrive 45 minutes before your session. Check-in is quick — wristbands, a luggage locker if you need one, and the shuttle queue moves every 10–15 minutes. First-timers' mistake: cutting it fine. Last boarding for the afternoon is strict at 17:00.
The crossing

Pool hours
Settle into your setting, order against your credit and swim. The infinity edge faces open sea — no umbrellas, no headland, nothing between you and the horizon. Quietest weekdays: Monday and Wednesday.

The DJ steps up a gear as the light turns. If you booked the Beach Club level, wander up — the second-floor rail is open to all guests for the drop itself.

Dinner service off the full kitchen, the pool lit from below, Phuket's coastline glittering to the east. Shuttles run until close — no need to rush the last hour.

Yona runs over two levels. The Beach Club (first floor) wraps the infinity pool at the water line; the Sunset Terrace (second floor) faces west for the golden hour. Every setting is reserved for your whole session, and the minimum spend converts into a food-and-beverage credit spent on board — it is per setting, not per person.
Morning session — 9:30am to 2pm
Glassy sea, pool time and lunch before the crowd builds. The lower minimum spends of the day — the easiest session to sell to families and couples.
Afternoon session — 2pm to 9:30pm
The DJ builds, the sun drops over the Andaman and the Sunset Terrace comes alive. Higher minimums, the headline Yona atmosphere.
Sea Beds & Pool Beds
Daybeds set at the very edge — Sea Beds over the open water, Pool Beds along the infinity pool. The most photographed seats on board, with waiter service where you lie. For two to four.
Small, Medium & Maxi Cabanas
Curtained, semi-private cabanas with dedicated service and a chilled welcome — from an intimate Small Cabana for four to the Maxi Cabana for up to eight. The default for celebrations, groups and VIP clients.
The Sunset Terrace
Up on the second floor: west-facing Sunset Beds and Sunset Sofas plus the larger Balcony Sofas, with their own pool and the best seats in the house when the sky turns.

Book the afternoon, arrive by four. Guests who check in at the 17:00 cut-off get ninety minutes of daylight; guests on board by 16:00 get the pool, the golden hour and the night — same minimum spend, twice the day.

How far ahead should Yona Beach Club be booked?
For sofas and daybeds, 3–7 days ahead is usually fine outside peak weeks. Pool beds, cabanas and VIP cabanas on sunset sessions in high season should be requested 2–4 weeks ahead. As an official booking partner Explera can check live availability and hold trade allocations on busy dates.
Can children visit Yona?
On the morning session, yes — it is family-friendly with a minimum age of 4, a live singer and a relaxed pace, running Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:30 to 14:00. The afternoon session (14:00–21:30, daily) has a minimum age of 20.
What is included in a Yona seating package?
Every seating package includes the round-trip shuttle boat, infinity-pool access, a reserved seat for the full session and a food-and-beverage credit spent on board. Differences between categories are position, privacy, capacity and the size of the included credit and minimum spend.
How do guests get to the floating beach club?
Check-in is at Royal Phuket Marina, then a shuttle boat runs to the vessel roughly every 10–15 minutes — the crossing takes about 10 minutes. Explera can add private hotel-to-marina transfers from any Phuket hotel using our own fleet.
What happens in bad weather?
Yona operates seasonally (the 2026 season runs 30 March to 15 November) and sessions can be adjusted or cancelled in unsafe sea conditions. If the venue cancels, bookings are moved to another date or refunded per the conditions on your Explera confirmation — we handle the rebooking.
Can dietary requirements be handled on board?
Yes — the on-board restaurant handles vegetarian, vegan, halal-friendly and most allergy requirements when flagged in advance. Note dietary needs on your Explera booking and we pass them to the venue with the manifest.
Can Yona be hired privately for an event?
Group buyouts and semi-private event setups are possible on selected dates and are quoted case by case — they suit incentives, milestone birthdays and brand events. Send the date, headcount and budget band to the trade desk and we will scope it with the venue.
How does payment work through Explera?
