From 1 December, Thai Airways flies Bangkok–Paris twice a day instead of once, and its winter 2026/27 timetable also lifts Munich to 10 weekly flights from 16 December and Zurich to 11 from 16 January 2027. Explera DMC Thailand sets out what the extra European seats change for agents planning groups.

What is in the winter schedule?
Thai Airways' northern-winter timetable starts on 25 October 2026 and ends on 27 March 2027. It spans 66 routes at home and abroad, as TTR Weekly and The Nation reported in September. On Europe, the extra flying is concentrated in December and January, exactly when European clients most often book winter sun in Thailand.

Which European routes gain flights?
Bangkok–Paris rises from daily to 14 flights a week, twice daily, from 1 December 2026. Bangkok–Munich rises from daily to 10 flights a week from 16 December 2026, and Bangkok–Zurich from daily to 11 a week from 16 January 2027. The schedule reports name these three routes; for any other European route, and for operating days on all of them, confirm with the airline before ticketing.
Why does this matter for groups?
A daily service gives a group one flight a day to fit into. A second Paris departure, or extra Munich and Zurich days, makes it easier to keep everyone on one flight and to split a large group across two days when seats are tight. Our market pages for France, Germany and Switzerland cover how we handle clients from each, and our briefings on the French market, the German market and the Swiss market set out the wider picture. For the airline's India changes, see our India frequencies briefing.

How can a Thailand DMC help?
Once the flights are chosen, the ground side follows: a meet-and-greet at Suvarnabhumi, a coach sized to the group, Bangkok hotels for the first nights and domestic connections to Phuket or Chiang Mai. A Thailand DMC books all of that as one programme. Our transport team runs the transfers, and the full range sits on our Thailand DMC services page.
Next steps
Hold seats on the new departure days through the airline or your consolidator first. Then share the flight numbers, passenger count and dates with our trade desk through the contact page, and we will build the ground programme around them.
