VIV Asia, the trade fair for the livestock, feed and animal-protein industry, runs from 10 to 12 March 2027 at IMPACT Exhibition Center, just north of Bangkok. Explera DMC suggests agents with agribusiness clients start planning delegations now, because the same March fortnight also brings MotoGP to Buriram.
Explera runs delegation and trade-fair travel as a Thailand DMC. Its Thai company, Explera DMC Co., Ltd., holds TAT licence 14/05119, the Tourism Business Licence issued by the Department of Tourism. The group is IATA TIDS-registered (96215733) and belongs to ASTA (member 900408341). Delegation enquiries: b2b@explera.co.th.
What VIV Asia 2027 is
The organiser lists the 2027 show at IMPACT in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, open from 10:00 to 18:00 on all three days and spread across Halls 1 to 7, with what it describes as a 38% larger exhibition footprint. It is co-located with Meat Pro Asia, which brings in the processing end of the supply chain, and with a new show, HortiAgri Next Asia, which covers agriculture alongside livestock. The organiser gives no visitor or exhibitor numbers for 2027.
What a delegation needs
IMPACT is in Muang Thong Thani, north of central Bangkok, and road traffic decides the day: a hotel near the venue saves time, while a central hotel means early departures. Daily coaches between the hotel and the halls, a meeting room for the group's own sessions and an interpreter for exhibitor meetings are the usual building blocks. Our transport team and MICE team arrange them, and a Thailand DMC can add a farm or factory visit if the host company agrees.
Plan around the March calendar
MotoGP's Thailand round runs at Buriram from 5 to 7 March 2027, as our MotoGP briefing explains, and early March is still high season in Bangkok. Book rooms and coaches for the show week early, and leave a free day before it for delegates arriving from long-haul markets.
