What is TAPA 2027?
TAPA is Thailand's sourcing show for auto parts: original equipment and aftermarket parts, accessories and the workshop equipment around them. The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) organises it with the Thai Auto-Parts Manufacturers Association (TAPMA) and other industry groups, and it is held every two years. DITP reported 682 exhibiting companies, 1,091 booths and 7,199 visitors from 87 countries at the 2025 edition, held at BITEC from 3 to 5 April 2025. Those are the organiser's own figures; nothing comparable has been published for 2027 yet.
Why does the TAPA 2027 timing work for buyer groups?
Thailand is a major base for automotive parts manufacturing, and TAPA puts a large share of those suppliers under one roof. The 2027 dates also overlap with the last days of the Bangkok International Motor Show at IMPACT, reported to run until 4 April. How should agents plan a TAPA 2027 delegation?
Book three show nights near BITEC, plus one more if the group wants the Motor Show too. Early April is the run-up to Songkran on 13 to 15 April, so hotels and domestic flights get busier towards the end of the trip; keep the programme tight or finish before the holiday. Factory visits to the industrial estates of Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong are a common add-on, and they need each factory's agreement in advance.
