Creator collaborations — complimentary Thailand experiences for coverage
Tours, boat days and beach-club sessions for travel creators who publish honest, well-made coverage.
The Explera Creator Program is simple: we provide complimentary day tours and activities in Thailand to travel influencers, bloggers and YouTubers in exchange for published coverage. Speedboat island days, sunset cruises, food evenings, beach clubs — provided free of charge against an agreed set of deliverables: a blog post, a video segment or social content with tags and links.
Why a Thailand DMC runs a creator program.
Explera is a TAT-licensed destination management company operating across Thailand with our own boats, vehicles and operations teams. The experiences we offer creators are the same products we run daily for travel agencies worldwide — which means real captains, licensed guides, proper insurance and a 24/7 operations desk behind every collaboration, not a one-off marketing stunt. You get dependable logistics and genuinely filmable days; we get authentic coverage of products we actually operate.
The program runs year-round in Phuket, Bangkok, Krabi, Koh Samui, Pattaya and Chiang Mai, and includes access to partner venues where we are an official booking partner — including Yona Beach Club, the floating beach club off Phuket, and the Hype Boat Club party catamaran. We accept a limited number of collaborations per month so that every creator gets a properly coordinated itinerary, and every application gets a straight answer within five business days.
Three tiers — matched to what we can offer in return.
Tiering keeps expectations honest on both sides. We verify follower counts, engagement rates and traffic before confirming any collaboration, and we care far more about a real, engaged audience in a travel-relevant niche than about headline numbers.
Rising
For growing creators with a genuinely engaged audience. Rising-tier collaborators typically receive one complimentary day experience per Thailand visit — a speedboat island day, a food evening or a cultural tour — matched to the niche their audience actually follows them for.
Established
Mid-size creators with consistent reach and a track record of travel coverage. Established-tier collaborators typically receive two to three complimentary experiences per visit, priority scheduling on popular departures, and beach-club or boat-party access where the content fit is right.
Authority
Large accounts, established travel blogs with real search traffic, and YouTube channels with engaged subscribers. Authority-tier collaborators can receive a multi-day experience program across more than one destination, with hotel partner offers considered case by case.
Sample complimentary experiences.
Every collaboration itinerary is built from products we operate or officially represent. These six are the most requested — but anything in our excursions catalogue can be proposed.
Deliverables — agreed in writing before travel.
The exact package depends on your tier, channels and the experiences provided, and it goes into a short written agreement before anything is booked. A typical collaboration includes the items listed here. We never ask for fake enthusiasm — honest coverage, clearly disclosed, is worth more to us and to your audience than a scripted advert.
Deliverables are due within 30 days of travel. Send us the links when they are live; we track tags and links, and creators who deliver well are invited back with stronger offers.
- A dedicated blog post on your site with a do-follow link to the Explera page for the experience covered
- A YouTube mention or dedicated segment where video is part of your channel mix
- At least 3 Instagram reels or story sets tagging @explera with the venue geotag
- Usage rights for Explera to repost your content on our own channels, with credit
- Honest, clearly disclosed coverage in line with ASA / FTC advertising disclosure rules
From application to published coverage — four steps.

Send the form below with your channels, audience size and the deliverables you propose. Real numbers only — we verify reach and engagement before replying.

The partnerships desk reviews fit, audience quality and seasonality, and replies within five business days with a yes, a no, or an alternative experience that fits better.
Itinerary agreed in writing
Accepted creators receive a short written agreement: the experiences provided, the deliverables owed, tags, links and disclosure wording — so both sides know exactly what was agreed.
Travel & publish within 30 days
You take the experiences, then publish the agreed deliverables within 30 days of travel and send us the links. That closes the collaboration — and opens the door to the next one.

Creator program — asked before applying.
Who qualifies for the Explera creator program?
Travel creators with a genuine, engaged audience: Instagram and TikTok accounts from around 10,000 followers with 4%+ engagement, travel blogs with real organic search traffic, and YouTube channels with an active subscriber base. Audience quality matters more than raw follower count — we verify both before accepting.
What is complimentary and what is paid?
The experiences themselves — tours, boat trips, beach-club sessions and activities agreed in your itinerary — are complimentary in exchange for the agreed coverage. Personal extras such as additional drinks beyond any included credit, souvenirs, spa add-ons and unagreed upgrades are paid by the creator.
Are flights and hotels included?
No — the program covers experiences only: day tours, activities and venue sessions in Thailand. We do not fund flights. Discounted or complimentary hotel nights are considered case by case for Authority-tier creators where a hotel partner opts in, and are never guaranteed.
How does disclosure work?
All collaboration content must be honestly and clearly disclosed in line with ASA and FTC rules: a clear gifted or paid-partnership label on social posts and a disclosure line on blog posts. We put the required wording in the written agreement so there is no ambiguity.
Is the collaboration exclusive?
No. You remain free to work with other brands and DMCs. We only ask that competing Thailand DMC promotions do not run inside the same piece of content that covers an Explera-provided experience.
Does Explera approve content before publishing?
We do not script or pre-approve editorial content — honest coverage is the point. We only check that agreed tags, links and disclosure are present, and we will ask for a factual correction if something is materially wrong, such as a price or a safety detail.
How much lead time do you need?
Apply at least 3 weeks before your travel dates. Reviews take up to five business days, and popular experiences — beach clubs in high season especially — need at least a week of scheduling lead time after the agreement is signed.
Can I bring family or a plus-one?
Usually yes for one companion on day tours, agreed in advance and named in the itinerary. Note the venue rules still apply — for example the Yona afternoon session has a minimum age of 20, while the morning session welcomes children from age 4.
