The 43rd Thailand International Motor Expo runs at IMPACT Challenger in Muang Thong Thani, just north of Bangkok, from 2 to 13 December 2026. Explera DMC Thailand explains what agents planning dealer incentives and automotive groups should know about the dates, the crowds and where to stay.

What has been announced?
The organiser lists 2 to 13 December 2026 in IMPACT Challenger Halls 1 to 3. A press and VIP preview with the opening ceremony comes first, on 1 December; 2 December is a charity day, and the general public days run from 3 to 13 December. On weekdays the halls open from 12:00 to 22:00, so evening visits are possible.
Who should travel for it?
Motor Expo is open to the public, and carmakers and motorcycle brands use it to show their latest models to Thai buyers. It suits dealer incentive trips, automotive suppliers and fleet buyers who want to see the brands' line-ups for the Thai market in one place.
How does it differ from the Bangkok Motor Show?
Thailand has two large car shows at IMPACT, run by different organisers. The Bangkok International Motor Show opens in late March 2027; Motor Expo closes the year in December, inside the high season, when hotels near IMPACT and in central Bangkok fill early.
How can a Thailand DMC help?
December is high season, so rooms come first. Once the dates are fixed, a Thailand DMC can hold a block close to the halls or in the city, put the coach on a schedule that avoids the evening rush and plan the weekday visit. For dealer incentives we add a gala dinner or a day out of the capital. Start with our MICE team or our group travel desk.
