METALEX 2026, the machine-tool and metalworking show run by RX BITEC, takes place at BITEC in Bangkok from 18 to 21 November 2026. Explera DMC Thailand explains what agents sending engineers and buyers need to know about entry, timing and where to stay.

What has been announced?
The official show site lists 18 to 21 November 2026, Wednesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00 each day at BITEC, the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Bang Na. The organiser says the show brings together more than 3,000 brands from 50 countries; treat that as the organiser's own figure.
Who can attend?
Entry is for trade visitors only, and the organiser's visitor page says children under 15 are not allowed into the exhibition halls. Pre-registration online is free, and groups of three or more from the same company can collect pre-printed badges on site, so ask clients to register before they fly.
Why does the timing matter?
Show week falls early in the high season, when Bangkok hotels are already busy. Business hotels in Bang Na and along the Sukhumvit line near BITEC fill first, so groups should hold rooms now. Buyers interested in factory automation can return in March for Automation Thailand 2027 at the same venue. Our Bangkok guide covers the city.
How can a Thailand DMC help?
Rooms near BITEC, morning vans to the halls, interpreters and visits to industrial estates on the Eastern Seaboard: a Thailand DMC can arrange it. We hold rooms early, time transfers around the 10:00 opening, book interpreters for supplier meetings and plan factory visits in Chonburi or Rayong. See our group travel service and our MICE services.
